1) Pre-owned bags generally lose around 50% of their value once used, unless the item is in excellent condition, the value lost is 30%.
2) Buyers of used bags are looking for a bargain, this means the price must be right. If the asking price is too close to the brand new price, they will not consider buying the preowned one.
3) A margin of 15% of item sold amount will be credited to Bags de Paris. The final selling price of the item will be determine by us after having inspected the bag and marketing research has been completed.
4) Items must be in good condition.
5) We only sell items on consignment only. The items will be on display for a minimum of 3 months. (seller will have to hand their items personally to our shop. However, if the item is deemed unsellable after 3 months or longer, we will return the item(s) to seller, a handling fee of RM50 will be charged and return shipping charges (if item(s)are to be posted) borne by the seller (only applies to outstation seller only)
3) The RM50 handling fee for each item is also payable if item are requested to be taken back by the owner for any reason whatsoever, at anytime. Return shipping charges (if item(s)are to be posted) borne by the seller (only applies to outstation seller only).
4) Full disclosure of flaws is required to enable proper agreement of minimum asking price for resale. Bags de Paris reserves the right to amend the minimum asking price or return the item(s) once the item(s) have been inspected and flaws are discovered undisclosed prior to being sent to us based on our professional opinion. If Bags de Paris chooses to return it, the return shipping charges are to be borne by the owner.
5) Bags de Paris also reserves the right to return any item(s) immediately after viewing or inspecting it and finding with good reason that the item(s) is unsellable. Return charges to be borne by the owner.
*It is extremely important that sellers/owners have a high level of integrity concerning any/all information provided regarding the items they wish to resell. Bags de Paris will not entertain sellers/owners who are dishonest or are trying to make money from reselling. The purpose of this blog is to resell your preowned/used items & the amount of $ you get back will indeed be lower than your purchase price irrespective of the current retail price in stores. If you purchased your bag BEFORE the price increase or from overseas, the resale price will be based on your original purchase price and NOT the current retail price.
